About Dr. Chandrashekar Raman
Dr. Chandrashekar Raman is a distinguished Best Spine Surgeon in Pune with high skills in the diagnosis and (therapeutic and surgical) treatment of disorders related to the nervous system. He is the present Head of Department of Neurosurgery at Noble Hospital, Pune.
Dr. Raman received his MBBS and MS (General Surgery) training from GMC, Nanded. He further completed MCh and DNB (Neurosurgery) from Seth G S Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai under the able guidance of renowned neurosurgeon Dr. Atul Goel. This was succeeded by fellowship training in Vascular and Spine Surgery from Fujita Hospital, Japan thereby gaining additional competency in his area of speciality. During his medical education, Dr. Raman excelled in his academics and posted huge success by bagging various medals and honours for the same.
Subsequent to his senior residency at KEM hospital, Dr. Raman joined Government Medical College and Super Specialty Hospital, Nagpur wherein he imparted medical education as Assistant Professor in Neurology for a brief period. In the next following years, Dr. Raman procured further professional experience through his association with Lotus Hospital and Critical Care Centre (Nanded) and Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences (Bengaluru). Prior to joining Noble Hospital (Pune), Dr. Raman served as a Senior Clinical Associate under the wings of Prof. Atul Goel. Parallely, Dr. Raman is also engaged in teaching activities at Sassoon Hospital, Pune as Hon. Associate Professor in Neurosurgery.
