Shri Gulab Rai Montessori School

The history of the Shri Gulab Rai Group of Schools dates back to 1946 when the first school was started by Late Babu Banwari Lal Agarwal, one of the leading lawyers of his time. The school was started in the fond memory of his father, the Late Rai Sahib Lala Gulab Rai ji Agarwal. The foundation stone of Shri Gulab Rai Inter College was laid down by the first Premier of United Province, Bharat Ratan Late Shri Govind Ballabh Pant.
The school started in a humble way with just 2 small rented rooms. Today we can boast of having three large buildings sprawling over thousand feet of covered area. The 3 schools provide quality education to more than 5,000 children of Bareilly.
Shri Gulab Rai Montessori School is from PNC to Class KG. The best of the Montessori, Kindergarten and Playway methods are dovetailed and adapted to meet the needs of their age group and social environment. Lot of emphasis is laid on extra curricular activities.
Shri Gulab Rai Montessori Senior School is from Class I to XII (Science & Commerce) and is affiliated to CBSE, Delhi. Innovative methods of teaching incorporating the use of visual and audio-visual aids are implemented to make teaching more meaningful and interesting.
Computer Education, Dance, Music, Art and Physical Education form an important part of the school curriculum.
Shri Gulab Rai Inter College is affiliated to UP Board and is running classes from VI to XII of Humanities, Science and Commerce. It is recognized as one of the best intermediate colleges of the town producing outstanding results in Classes X and XII.
The grand sons of Late Babu Banwari Lal Agarwal - Shri Ravi Agarwal and Shri Rajesh Agarwal Jolly run the Management of the GulabRai Group of Schools and are maintaining the high standards set by their Grandfather and Father, Late NamoNarainAgarwal. Now, Mr Trijit Agarwal is carrying forth the two branches to stellar heights.
